SCE Condex B

These three components are hardware and they are in communication with each other. The functions communication between the components is administrated by the software, which is the system’s intelligence.

The concentrator and the base have a cell phone communication, internet, wimax or even satellital if required.

The CONCENTRATOR is the device which provides direct communication and management of electrical consumption by individual users. The components are contained in a Nema 4 electrical box measuring 12 x 27 x 35 cms. It is installed
typically on a pole or a wall close to the transformer. It is capable of supporting up to 100 individual meters currently connected to a single phase of the transformer.

 

The SMART METER is similar in size and appearance to a standard electrical meter and fully compatible with current electrical standards. Measuring 16cm D x 8cm.

The CENTRAL BASE measures 3 x 8 x 14 cm and it is installed in the power company’s offices. The CENTRAL BASE also permits the electrical company to directly access every user of CONDEX’s smart meter, for efficient, cost-saving and safe management of electrical power.
